Dear Basically Blues followers,

Our dear friend and band member Dayton Rich has recently suffered a major setback. Major surgery was performed Saturday the 16th following some outpatient surgery on Fri. He is now resting at New Britain General Hospital in the Extensive Care Unit. The doctors expect a full recovery but it will be a long and trying time for the active and hard working Dayton. The Band will miss him for the time he is absent but we expect him back as soon as he is able to strum that guitar and blow the Harp.

The Band will continue with all our posted engagements and hope to see you there with a word of support for our Comrade and fellow entertainer. Any E-mails of encouragement will be copied and given directly to Dayton.
